Mission Jedidiah offers restoration to children in family crisis by encouraging excellence in education, finances, relationships and character through resources from private individuals, businesses, universities and community organizations.

Jedidiah began in the late 1970's in the heart of our founder, Cindi Cary as she and high school friends drove the streets of Fort Worth, Texas looking at abandoned school buildings to provide homes for abandoned youth. Through many years of ministry to youth, this vision continues in the idea of an avant-garde orphanage. Motherless families or those without an adequate mother are the fastest growing family dynamic in the United States. Motherless children are orphans of the heart needing unique teaching and guidance. Jedidiah is an ambassador for the motherless who are yearning for the specific love that comes from a mother’s heart. Our volunteers take on various responsibilities but the most important is to be present and proactive in children's lives and interests. A listening ear, loving advice, or an encouraging word from our volunteers turns a lost child into a self-assured child growing in love.
