We sell ads for our program which is for an entire season. These can be either for a business, service, memorial, or in support of Oklahoma Master Chorale.
We always welcome volunteers! You can help at a concert with greeting, programs and seating. We also can use help with dress rehearsals. Help with marketing and press for our organization and concerts would be welcomed as well.

Background The Oklahoma Master Chorale performs choral masterworks under the direction of Dr. Nettie Williams. Our goal is to use scholarship and integrity to the intent of the composer as parameters of an artistic musical performance. Careful score analysis affords the performers insight into the written score, which we employ to bring alive the music to the listener. Since so many of the classics were written for worship, our performances when appropriate will be set within a liturgical environment that enhances the original settings. The group is dedicated to fine musicianship and careful score analysis to bring choral literature alive to the listener. The group performs locally and across the region. Incorporated under the Oklahoma Choral Association, both the Oklahoma Master Chorale and Schola have tax-exempt status.
Impact
We have a new director in Dr. Nettie Williams, our own Conductor Emeritus.
We performed "A Ceremony of Carols" by Benjamin Britten, As well as " Christmas in the Southwest" By Conrad Susa. Both of these works are rarely performed in our area.
We instituted a program to sell ads in our program. This was successful financially and helped broaden our audience base.
We hired a new graphic company which upgraded our program for a more professional appearance.
We continue to feature soloists from within our talented members.
We will perform Mozart's "Coronation Mass" with full orchestra on May 4, 2014 at St. Joseph's Old Cathedral in Oklahoma City.
For our next season we are planning works by Poulenc, Bach and  a performance featuring the poetry of Robert Frost.

Needs 1. Donations to support the hiring of orchestra members. The average cost is. $240.00 per person. We hire 6-25 musicians for each concert.
2. New orchestra stand lights. We provide stands and lights for the musicians.
3. Printing of programs and flyers for our concerts.
4. Assistance with fees for accompanist and director.
5. Assistance with fees for professional soloists when needed.
Board Chair Statement The Oklahoma Master Chorale continues to perform choral masterworks of the past and present with a high degree of musicianship and understanding of musical styles and compositions. Ensemble singing requires respect for the integrity of the work and for each other. Being committed to excellent preparation for concerts, Master chorale singers hope to share the joy and emotional experience of music with the audience.

Description
Our 2013-2014 season was set to begin in December 2013, but due to an ice storm we had to postpone until January 2014. We sang "Ceremony and Carols" by Benjamin Britten honoring his 100th anniversary. Along with this we sang "Christmas in the Southwest" by Conrad Susa. This work is based on traditional Spanish carols.
Our next performance, An Afternoon with Amadeus, will be May 4, 2014 2:00 PM at St. Joseph's Old Cathedral, Oklahoma City, OK. We will be singing Mozart's "Coronation Mass" accompanied by orchestra.
