Programs
Description The organization supports projects that enhance the residents' quality of life such as landscaping along street medians, maintaining parks, preserving the historical neighborhood, and keeping the area safe and vibrant. We maintain and develop a five-block median along Shartel, three entryways, four park flower beds and park trees. The City of Oklahoma City owns the areas but our organization maintains and beautifies them with volunteer efforts and contracts with the City of OKC. We installed and now maintain historically appropriate street lights and markers throughout the neighborhood. These projects directly benefit the 630 residences in the neighborhood and indirectly benefit thousands of people such as members of the Westminster church and school community, participants in the Memorial Marathon, and patrons who visit shops and restaurants along the Shartel and Western avenues.
