Background
The Metro Tech Foundation exists to secure funds to enhance and improve facilities and programs at Metro Technology Centers. For over 25 years the Foundation has provided scholarships and financial assistance on an individual basis to adult and high-school students. The Foundation undertakes any project considered by our Board of Directors to be in the best interests of the district and its students. The students we help come from urban

school; students with long term goals that

may include a good job or college.

The Metro Tech Foundation helps students

remain on track to achieve their dreams by

providing financial support when problems

or obstacles get in the way.

The Student Emergency Assistance Program serves approximately 300 students a year providing them with one-time financial support so they can continue their career training program, graduate, and move to a long-term career.
