Mission To provide a sound academic education integrated with a Christian view of God and the world, by partnering with families in educating the whole person to glorify God.
Background
Over the past 42 years, Oklahoma Christian School (OCS) has developed into a flourishing community of approximately 900 students. We are building on the foundation of those who have provided their leadership, talents and gifts.

OCS is an independent school accredited by the ACSI and fully recognized by the State Department of Education. Over the decades, OCS has grown and expanded its wide range of classes and its opportunities for students, while keeping its mission central: “Partnering with families to educate the whole person to glorify God.”

The school was founded in 1970 and graduated its first class of 13 students in 1976, and for the next 10 years rented facilities from Edmond churches in order to house its steadily growing enrollment. In the late 1980s, OCS moved to and eventually purchased land and facilities from Metro Church (now LifeChurch.tv) and became neighbors with the church. For the first time, the entire Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade student body was unified in one location.  Today, our campus sits on more than 30 acres and attracts students from across the metro area.

OCS is committed to offering a rigorous academic experience. We challenge our students to work hard as they develop knowledge, skills, and critical thinking. We believe that prayer, faith, compassion, worship, and personal devotion fit hand-in-hand with all parts of scholarship. Children are a gift from God. They are filled with purpose, and their lives have great meaning.

Impact OCS is richly blessed with students who are using their gifts and talents to honor God. This year, the OCS Cheer Team was crowned Class 4A Champions and the OCS Football team earned the Class 2A State Championship.  OCS teams in baseball, basketball, tennis, cross country track, swimming and soccer all earned high honors.  OCS students also honored Christ through drama, speech, debate, band and art and earned high marks at regional and district competitions.  We develop the whole person through academic rigor, spiritual training and co-curricular activities.
Needs OCS is experiencing growth and expanding its campus according to its Master Plan.  In 2012 we opened our new high school, which features state-of-the art science labs, new classrooms, a media center and offices.  We are seeking the final $300,000 of this exciting campaign.  All gifts to the campaign are being matched dollar-for-dollar.  Future plans include building a track, tennis courts, additional classrooms, athletic field house and a new auditorium.  We invite you to invest in what God is doing at OCS!
