Background

A Chance to Change (ACTC) was incorporated in 1979 as the first adolescent drug and alcohol treatment program in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.

From this, the agency has grown to become a prevention, education, and counseling center serving adults, adolescents and families in central Oklahoma who are affected by addictions and behavioral disorders.

ACTC is a non-profit agency whose staff includes experienced Licensed Professional Counselors, Case Managers and other professionals focused on providing the highest quality services for individuals and families.

For 38 years, our programs have helped thousands of people find healing from addictions and other issues. ACTC is the only substance abuse agency funded by Central Oklahoma United Way. Other sources of funds are government contracts, private grants, fees for services, individual and corporate donations. Over 50% of our services are provided free or low cost to the participants.
